When it comes to weight, there is no standardized specification. A typical PVC card weighs between 5 to 10 grams. In contrast, a metal card, such as the American Express Platinum Card, weighs around 17.5 grams, while some entry-level cards manufactured from cheaper materials might weigh about 5 grams.
